History:
I am Tina Jacobsen Wilstrup and I am a trained confectioner. My heart and taste buds have always
been devoted to chocolate. So in 1996 when given the opportunity to take over an ancient and
reputable chocolate shop in Frederiksberg, it was a dream come true. The shop has its own
chocolate production dating back to 1923. I have taken the old craft back to a time where quality
was put above mass production, still using the antique moulds. You are able to see how we
manufacture chocolates in the factory during the day just by looking through our store windows.
Assortment:
In our large assortment, you will find e.g. orange branches soaked in Grand Marnier for up to six
months, or our a “golden ball” – a heavenly mouthful of soft nougat, crispy hazelnut, and orange,
dipped in chocolate and finished off with a brush of 18 carats gold leaf. All of the 60 variants are
made with the most exquisite raw materials – e.g. the finest French and Belgian chocolate,
marzipan with a 70% content of almonds, ecological coffee beans, unsprayed oranges, and
crystallized violets picked in nature. Naturally, there is no use of colourings, additives or essences,
but instead I tend to use the “Grand Fine Champagne” generously – a cognac from “Logis de la
Mothe” in the heart of the cognac district. All of this is beautifully presented in our different sized
mahogany boxes.
Assorted chocolates:
If you want to make your own assorted chocolates, I do sell a few aid kits in the shop and in
addition to this, I host small chocolate lectures, courses and pre-wedding celebrations. You are
always welcome to come into my shop for good advice on chocolate – so pay us a visit and let us
talk about your wishes and needs.
